Merge Records 25th Anniversary
Cat's Cradle, Carrboro
This is it, the three-day main event to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Durham's Merge Records. Thursday and Friday nights are sold out (although I'm seeing a flurry of last-minute pass-for-sale tweets, if you're looking).

Saturday's show is outdoors, somewhere in the immediate environs of the Cradle. As far as I know it isn't sold out, so here's the lineup for your perusal:

5:25 pm Teenage Fanclub
4:20 pm Bob Mould
3:30 pm Mikal Cronin
2:40 pm Ex Hex

Alpha Cop are one of the more intriguing bands currently working in the Triangle -- they're somewhere between post-rock and prog, but with a raw punkish edge that keeps things from getting too ponderous.
